American International Group, Inc (NYSE:AIG) picked ex- Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) executive Laurette T. Koellner to manage the insurer’s plane-leasing business, placing her in charge of Henri Courpron after he was examined over a relationship with a worker.
The New York- based American International Group reported in a statement on Thursday that Courpron’s yearly compensation as chief executive officer was cut by $1 million at International Lease Finance Corp, and Koellner was picked executive chairman of the business.
The insurer reported that AIG assessed Mr Courpron’s conduct as contrary to AIG’s hopes of its officers.
AIG reported that Koellner worked at plane maker Boeing from 1997 through 2008, turning to president of Boeing International.
