Chief Executive Officer of AOL Tim Armstrong stated in a telephone interview that Minson would also continue as Chief Financial Officer until a substitute is found. Armstrong further reported that the corporation has hired executive recruiter Peter Crist to find a financial Chief.
Armstrong stated that these actions permit the company to concentrate on product development and day-to-day strategy, while Artie, from an operational capability, can move them faster to profitability.
