Apple stayed as the No. 1 tablet seller, with 68% of almost 25 million units delivered in the quarter, accompanied by Samsung with 10% and Amazon.com with 5%, according to report.
Overall deliveries for tablets all over the world in the second quarter were forecasted at 25 million units, which were higher from 18.7 million in the initial quarter, a 33.6% hike. Apple delivered 17 million of those products, which was 11.8 million higher from the initial quarter.
Its competitors include Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) whose number of outstanding shares remained 327.03 million having insider ownership of 0.10% and Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) having outstanding shares 1.97 billion with insider ownership of 0.03%.
