On Wednesday, in an aggressively-worded legal memo reported, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) challenged the US Department of Justice’s settlement offer which would have the firm tear apart its ongoing e-book business supported with three huge publishing units.
Apple’s (AAPL) filing, initially filed by paidContent is in reaction to a new DoJ memorandum backing a planned settlement, which demanded the New York district court managing the case to pass on a verdict right away with no additional proceedings.
