The Midwest contract covers over 13,000 workers in Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. AT&T Corp announced in the statement that company’s contract covers almost 5,700 workers located throughout the state.
Both labor deals will be presented to the CWA’s membership for an approval vote in coming days. The earlier contracts discussed in 2009 expired on April 7 of current year and workers have worked under the conditions of these expired deals while negotiations continuous.
