AT&T (T) Hit Deals with labor Union; Increase in Wages and Pensions

AT&T Inc (NYSE:T), the Second biggest US mobile service career, has hit tentative labor deals with the union in the Southeast zone surrounding billing and utility processes.

The deals have been moved to the Communications Workers of America and cover over 22,000 wireline workers. The firm reported that the three-year deals comprised of wage hike every year and increase in pension to some extent.

Its competitors include Sprint Nextel Corporation (NYSE:S) having profit margin of -11.09% with overall market cap of 13.01 billion and Verizon Communications Inc. (NYSE:VZ) that possessed profit margin 10.18% with total market cap of 127.32 billion.

Other technology stocks include Seagate Technology PLC (NASDAQ:STX) having profit margin 31.36%, Texas Instruments Incorporated (NASDAQ:TXN) with 12.07% profit margin, NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) having 12.78% profit margin, Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp (NASDAQ:CTSH) having profit margin of 14.22%, Corning Incorporated (NYSE:GLW) with 28.58% profit margin and Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:MRVL) with 16.62% profit margin.

AT&T Inc. (NYSE:T) dropped 0.51% or -$0.19 to trading at $37.42 following it hit intraday high level of $37.80. The total traded volume in the current trading session is 12.53 million shares as compared to average 27.30 million shares. Its fifty two week trading range is $27.29 – $38.28. The total market capitalization reached $215.53 billion.

The stock price was ahead its 52 week low price with 45.82% and it lagged behind -1.75% from its 52 week maximum mark. Stock price volatility for last month remained 1.65%. In its share capital, the company has 5.81 billion outstanding shares out of which 5.80 billion shares have been floated in the market. For now, stock ownership with company’s management remained 0.05%.
