The Bloomberg reported by mentioning the internal memo that Oviedo earlier worked as chief economic adviser for the staff of President Felipe Calderon. Spokesperson of the financial company Seth Martin confirmed the contents of the memorandum.

Martin further stated that Oviedo would be based in Mexico City and report to Marcelo Salomon.
