Chairman and chief executive officer of BlackRock, Inc (NYSE:BLK) Laurence D. Fink got $20.2 million in pay previous year, a 7.7 percent drop from previous year’s $21.9 million, as shown in the regulatory filing by company on Friday.

The company announced in regulatory filing that the reward for Mr. Fink included a base salary of $500,000, an $8.6 million cash bonus and $10.9 million in stock awards. Bonus hiked 6 percent from 2011.

The company declared a 10 percent boost in fiscal Q1 profit. Assets under management lifted to a record $3.9 trillion during three months period.
