BP (BP) Plans to Export LNG to Indonesian Plant

BP Plc (NYSE:BP) is seeming to export supplies of liquefied natural gas from an Indonesian factory to purchasers in Japan and South Korea, according to Bloomberg reports.

Asia is predicted to stay short of LNG from 2018, and the International Energy Agency forecasted that gas consumption in Japan would increase 53 percent by 2017 to 127 billion cubic meters per year, Bloomberg reported.

Almost 60 percent of BP’s intended LNG exports could arrive from its third production line at its Tangguh factory in Indonesia. Third line construction is prepared to start in 2014 and production could begin in the beginning of 2018.

Its competitors include Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) that slipped -1.03% to $104.94 with the total traded volume of 1.12 million shares and Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) that dropped -1.15% to $84.59 with the total traded volume of 3.07 million shares.

(NYSE:KOG) down -1.05% to $8.47 and Eldorado Gold Corp (USA) (NYSE:EGO) down -1.04% to $12.35.

BP plc (ADR) (NYSE:BP) stock’s trade at beginning with a price of $39.89 and the current trading session climbed at a high of $40.04 other than the stock finally declined -0.97% to $39.96 at 10:57AM EDT.
