United Kingdom based oil major BP decided current year to sell its half of stake in the TNK-BP joint venture after an acrimonious relationship with its partners regarding the business strategy of joint venture.
The Sunday Times further reported that Chief Executive officer of oil exploration company Bob Dudley discussed the company’s board appointment plan previous week with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin at a summit at his Sochi retreat on the Black Sea.
Spokesperson of the company was not immediately available for remark.
