Citigroup (C) Turns Red Following Pandit’s Resign – C, BAC, HBC, SPY, QQQ, IWM, WFC, TVIX, PNC

Citigroup Inc. (C) shares plunged surprisingly nearly 1% in early Tuesday trading following VikramPandit, its chief executive, gave his resignation effective immediately. Stock of the company was off their lows from the early trading session, when they had declined nearly 3% right following the news.

Michael Corbat, formerly Citi’s CEO of Europe, Middle East and Africa, would replace Pandit.
