El Paso Pipeline (NYSE:EPB) Acquiring Pipelines For $635M- EPB, EP, EPD, KMP, ETP, EEP, LINE, PAA

El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P. (NYSE:EPB) intends to purchase pipelines from El Paso Corp (NYSE:EP) for $635 million in cash.

El Paso Pipeline is a limited partnership created by El Paso Corp. to own and run natural gas transportation pipelines and storage assets.

The contract for Cheyenne Plains Investment Co. and the left over 14% stake in Colorado Interstate Gas Co. that El Paso Pipeline does not previously own also includes around $242 million of debt.

El Paso Pipeline reported on Friday that it is funding the transaction with around $571 million in debt and $64 million from issuing common units to El Paso Corp.

Turning towards the investors who viewing EPB against Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) declined -3.79%, Kinder Morgan Energy Partners LP (NYSE:KMP) lost -2.62%, Energy Transfer Partners LP (NYSE:ETP) slid -1.67%, Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (NYSE:EEP) edged up +1.40%, Linn Energy, LLC (NASDAQ:LINE) which also decreased -2.03% and Plains All American Pipeline, L.P. (NYSE:PAA) fell -1.55%.

El Paso Pipeline Partners, L.P. (NYSE:EPB) stock’s trade at beginning with a price of $32.60 and throughout the trading session climbed at a high of $32.67 other than when day-trade ended the stock finally slipped -5.72% to $30.64.
