Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM) Ex-Chief Raymond to Direct Inquiry at JPMorgan Chase (JPM)

JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM) has selected Ex-chief executive officer of Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) Lee Raymond to head an investigation by corporation directors into losses in credit derivative portfolio mange by its London-based Chief Investment Office, as said by a person with knowledge about the matter.

Board of directors of the company also selected fellow directors Chairman of Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) William Weldon, and real estate developer Laban Jackson to the inquiry board.

Raymond was Chief Executive Officer and chairman of Exxon from 1993 to 2005 and previously holds the position of “presiding director” of the JPMorgan board.

The board tasks were made in May soon after the company reported big trading losses, but were announced on Monday by the Wall Street Journal.

Spokesperson of JPMorgan refused to remark on the situation.

Its competitors include BP plc (ADR) (NYSE:BP) Gross margin remained 33.23% with 1.96 billion of outstanding shares and Chevron Corporation (NYSE:CVX) whose gross margin remained 13.05% with 3.17 billion of outstanding shares.

Other Basic Materials stocks include Vale SA (ADR) (NYSE:VALE) whose gross margin remained 55.37%, ATP Oil & Gas Corporation (NASDAQ:ATPG) with gross margin of 82.27%, Alpha Natural Resources, Inc. (NYSE:ANR) with gross margin of 11.94%, Valero Energy Corporation (NYSE:VLO) whose gross margin remained 7.81%, Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (NYSE:FCX) gross margin stayed 39.82% and Petroleo Brasileiro SA (ADR) (NYSE:PBR) having gross margin of 30.41%.

Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) stock’s trade at beginning with a price of $88.14 and the current trading session climbed at a high of $88.41 other than the stock finally advanced 0.28% to $88.20.

Shares price of XOM moved down from its 20 days moving average with +1.20% and remote positively from 50 days moving average with +3.85%. XOM current year earnings per share experienced an addition with 35.41% while its current quarter performance remained 7.90%.

XOM has a trade volume of 3.05 million shares is lesser as compared to average trading capacity of 13.40 million shares.
