Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM) Resumes Operations at Torrance Refinery – XOM, CVX, TOT, BP

Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) on Friday reported operations had resumed to original position at its oil refinery in Torrance, California after an outage by a power provider on Monday.

Power had been slash to the complete plant because of a disruption at a Southern California Edison substation. The oil exploration company reported earlier present week that the failure directed few units to blackout and others to slow down.

A person with knowledge about the Torrance operations reported crude oil throughput rates have been lower to 90,000 barrels per day, low from the boilerplate capacity of 155,000 barrels.

On Friday, Exxon Mobil reported that it is rationing the fuel it supplies to spot-market clients on the West Coast.
