Scientists from a British cancer charity are joining hands with technology giants from the likes of Amazon, Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) and Google to create and develop a mobile game focused at acerbating the search for new cancer drugs.
The project, guided by the charity Cancer Research UK, should mean that anyone with a smart phone and few minutes to spare would be capable of searching significant scientific data at the same time as playing a mobile game.
The initial step is for 40 computer programmers, gamers, graphic designers and other experts to take part in a weekend “GameJam” to shift the charity’s raw genetic data into a game type for future so-called “citizen scientists”.
Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) shares are down -1.03% to $26.99 while the stock is traded within the range of $26.90 – $27.20 in the current trading session. In the last 12 months the shares have traded between $17.55 and $45.00. The current session’s volume of 1.65 million shares is lower than their average daily trading volume of 57.88 million shares.

In an oddly candid post-firing letter, Mason, recognized for his atypical sense of humor, admittedthat he was getting in the way of the firm he co-founded just a few years back, and had been unsuccessful in his responsibility as leader.
After four and a half intense and great years as CEO of Groupon, I have decided that I would like to spend more time with my family. Just kidding, I was fired today. If you’re pondering why, you have not been paying attention,” Mason wrote in a memo addressed to the People of Groupon (GRPN) and given to Reuters.
At the current trading session, Groupon Inc (NASDAQ:GRPN) shares UP +2.37% to $4.64 while The Stock traded within the range of $4.58 – $4.68. In the past year, the stock has traded within a range of $2.60– $19.89. The current session’s volume of 2.63 million shares is down from the average daily trading volume of 17.44 million shares.
