GM’s joint collaboration with Shanghai’s SAIC Motor Corp. sold 120,010 units in September, which are record sales figures for the month of September and 3.7% higher sales as compared to last year. Though, sales at its JV with FAW Group declined 5% to 4,581 units.
Sales at Joint venture with GM, SAIC and Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co., SAIC-GM-Wuling Automobile Co., moved higher 119,510 units, 0.4% higher as compared to last year, the US car manufacturer stated.
Its competitors include Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) that slipped -0.98% to $10.06 with the total traded volume of 17.54 million shares and Toyota Motor Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:TM) that dropped -0.19% to $77.55 with the total traded volume of 75,240.00 shares.
