Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) Founders Faces U.S. Antitrust Regulators – GOOG, BIDU, MSFT, AOL

Co-founders of Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) Larry Page and Sergey Brin are slated for questioning by United States antitrust controllers and appointed a best Washington law company to assist them consider their interviews, according to two persons familiar with the issue.

The people, who refused to be identified as they were not authorized to speak publicly regarding the issue, stated that the Google executives kept Williams & Connolly LLP, the Washington law company that has represented President Bill Clinton, former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan and the late Senator Edward Kennedy.

Plans for the depositions come as the Federal Trade Commission accelerates its antitrust query of operator of the worldwide most admired Internet search engine.

The agency chairman Jon Leibowitz reported on Thursday that he anticipates completing the inquiry by the end of the year.
