(NASDAQ:GOOG), based in California, Eric Schmidt reported that the corporation will need Apple Inc.’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) support to offer its maps application for the iPhone, after the software was substituted by an Apple feature that’s been criticized by users.
Eric Schmidt reported in Tokyo on Tuesday that they have not done anything up till now with Google Maps. Schmidt reported that the company has the right to approve it.
Apple’s new mapping program with the iPhone5 was criticized by technology device reviewers, who reported that the software does not provide directions for public transportation and sometimes gets confused when navigating users.
