HCA (NYSE:HCA) Awards Special Dividend of $2 Per Share; Offers Senior Notes of Worth $1 billion – HCA, HMA, THC, PFE, BSX, MRK, PPHM, JNJ, LLY

HCA Holdings Inc (NYSE:HCA) reported on Monday that the health care services provider aims to pay a special cash dividend of $2 per share earlier to, or on Dec 31. The company reported that the dividend will be paid through proceeds of a planned $1 billion debt offering.

HCA Holdings also proposes to offer senior notes value of $1 billion, at the interest rate it may choose depending on the market situation.

The corporation aims to use the proceeds from the offering to distribute among stockholders and option holders, to pay charges and outlays in that regard.

Its competitors include Health Management Associates, Inc (NYSE:HMA) that slipped -5.79% to $7.49 with the total traded volume of 6.07 million shares and Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE:THC) that dropped -0.07% to $28.94 with the total traded volume of 373,441.00 shares.
