Insurance Broker Aon (NYSE:AON) Reports Q1 Profit Plummets- AON, MMC, WSH, BRO, AJG, CHSI, NFP

Aon PLC (NYSE:AON) announced on Friday a lower Q1 profit, spoil by squeezing margins at its human resource segment.

Net income January-March from continuing operations dropped to $238 million, evaluated with $246 million, a year before.

On a share basis, income was smooth at 71 cents a share.

Total revenue in the quarter surged 3% to $2.8 billion.

(NYSE:NFP) moved down -3.06%.

Aon PLC (NYSE:AON) dropped -5.76% or -$2.96 to close the trading at $48.39 following it hit intra day high level of $50.00. The total traded volume in the previous trading session was 6.80 million shares as compared to average 2.16 million shares. Its fifty two week trading range was $39.68 – $53.36. The total market capitalization reached $15.80 billion.
