General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) proposed to investors a unsatisfactory outlook for the upcoming 6 months in North America, increasing questions around the US economy’s recovery and sending its shares dropped 2.3%.

While the world’s biggest automaker reported a Q1 profit that surpassed anticipates, the outlook for its core market moved down short of expectations. General Motors Company (NYSE:GM) dropped -2.44% or -$0.56 to close the trading at $22.370 following it hit intra day high level of $23.19. The total traded volume in the previous trading session was 22.82 million shares as compared to average 9.30 million shares. Its fifty two week trading range was $19.00 – $33.47. The total market capitalization reached $35.03 billion.

The stock price was ahead its 52 week low price with 17.74% and it lagged behind -33.16% from its 52 week maximum mark. Stock price volatility for last month remained 2.75%.
