Joy Global (JOY) Leads the Decliners as it Tumbles on Outlook Lowering

Joy Global (NYSE:JOY) shares were the among the top laggards on the S&P 500 on Wednesday morning following the mining equipment company lowered its fiscal 2012 outlook in the light of a declining Chinese economy and unenthusiastic demand for US coal.

Shares plunged 5% to $50.16. Though there was proof that both the US and Chinese markets have slumped, we hope for a recovery to be slow, Joy Global CEO Mike Sutherlin commented in a statement.

Bookings declined 25% to $1.1 billion in the quarter concluded on July 27 in contrast with the similar quarter last year. Joy Global stated that commodities demand has lower compelling its buyers to trim capital spending lower overhead and decline production

Other industrial goods stocks with bullish trend include General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) up 0.53% to $20.92, PulteGroup, Inc. (NYSE:PHM) up 0.68% to $13.37 and Terex Corporation (NYSE:TEX) up 4.13% to $21.20, whereas with bearish trend include Dycom Industries, Inc. (NYSE:DY) down -18.11% to $15.46, Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) down -1.16% to $45.11 and Cemex SAB de CV (ADR) (NYSE:CX) down -1.52% to $7.75.

Joy Global Inc. (NYSE:JOY) stock’s trade at beginning with a price of $51.16 and the current trading session climbed at a high of $51.29 other than the stock finally slipped -4.96% to $50.41 at 10:51AM EDT.

Shares price of JOY moved down from its 20 days moving average with -7.63% and remote negatively from 50 days moving average with -5.52%. JOY current year earnings per share experienced an addition with 34.63% while its current quarter performance remained -9.85%.
