Kansas report shows deteriorating corn, sorgum and soybean crops due to extreme heat

Kansas crops are getting ruthlessly hit by high temperatures and a severe lack of moisture according to the Kansas Agricultural Statistics Service.

The Statistics company stated in a weekly report that the states crops are rapidly deteriorating due to the extreme weather conditions that they are facing in that region. According to the report 34 percent of the states corn crops are in poor to very poor condition, 32 percent in fair shape, 29 percent rated as good and only 5 percent rated a excellent. Sorghum and soybean crops are also getting hit hard with 36 and 33 percent of their crops in the poor to very poor condition bracket.
