McDonald’s (NYSE:MCD) Stock Falls to Record Low as Quarterly Sales Tumbles – MCD, JACK, WEN, BKW

The Oak Brook, Illinois-based McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) announced fiscal Q1 profit that was little changed as same-store sales tumbled in the United States for the first time since 2003 amid soft worldwide demand.

McDonald’s, the world’s biggest restaurant chain by sales, reported in a statement on Friday that net income in three months period was almost $1.27 billion or $1.26 per share, evaluated against $1.27 billion or $1.23 per share in previous year. Analysts forecasted $1.26, the median of 29 forecasts gathered by Bloomberg.

Worldwide sales at locations open around 13 months tumbled 1% in the three months period, led by a 1.2% United States decline.
