Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS), the major underwriter in Facebook‘s (NASDAQ:FB) May IPO might like the social media site a bit too intimately.

According to Wall Street Journal reports, latest data from Morningstar indicating that eight of the leading nine US mutual funds with Facebook stock as a percentage of overall assets are managed by Morgan Stanley’s (MS) asset-management wing.

Though, the Morgan Stanley funds that possess Facebook shares seem to have received most of them ahead of the IPO at prices well lower than the initial $38, showing that investors could possibly still have paper rises on the stock, regardless of its steep drop in past months.

Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) after opening at $14.34 hit high price of $14.42 and then trading at $14.39 by plunging -0.76% AT 10:41AM EDT and on current session volume of 3.11 million shares is lower than its average volume of 20.84 million shares.
