Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) Chief Says Firm worked 100% in Rules; Defends Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) IPO Process – MS, IBKR, SCHW, AMTD

Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) James Gorman guarded the securities company’s function in Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB) turbulent initial public offering, informing workers internally that the company worked 100% inside the regulations and saying the quick drop in Facebook’s stock was unsatisfactory.

Morgan Stanley Chief James Gorman stated in a weekly strategy meeting on Tuesday, which was later webcast to workers, that rumor of nefarious activity linked with the social networking corporation’s IPO was incorrect. He further stated that he was not aware of any dispute among the underwriting companies regarding Facebook’s Initial Public Offering price of $38 per share and its totally opposite to reports.

A spokesperson of Morgan Stanley confirmed the remarks made by James Gorman.
