Nomura (NMR) Analysts Lowers Nokia’s (NYSE:NOK) Sales Forecasts – NOK, RIMM, ALU, ERIC

Nokia Corporation’s (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) Smartphone revenue forecasts were lowered by Nomura Holdings, Inc (ADR) (NYSE:NMR) analysts after Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), the biggest software manufacturer, reported that the Finnish company’s present Lumia phones was not be supported by its latest mobile software.

Nokia’s revenue from Internet-surfing gadgets like the Lumia 900 would be 6 billion Euros or $7.5 billion coming year, evaluated against a prior forecast of 10.9 billion Euros, Nomura analysts directed by Stuart Jeffrey stated. They further stated that the corporation would sell 34 million gadgets operating Windows Phone in 2013, 41% below earlier forecasted.

Microsoft reported current week that its Windows Phone 8 program would go on sale in the second half of current year and those phones operating prior versions cannot be advanced.
