Pall reported that its earnings moved up to $78.9 million or 67 cents a share in the quarter finished April 30. The company announced income of $71.1 million or 60 cents a share in previous year. The corporation made 70 cents a share in the previous quarter without special items. Revenue climbed around 1%, to $715.2 million from $709.8 million.

FactSet analysts, who generally exclude special items, estimates profit of 76 cents a share on revenue of $706.4 million.
