PepsiCo, Inc (NYSE:PEP) has appointed a chief design officer as the company requires to infuse additional style into its brands and culture.

The soft drink and snack company reported on Friday that the ex- chief design officer of 3M Co (NYSE:MMM) Mauro Porcini would manage design for the corporation’s brands, with a strong focus on its top 12, which comprises Pepsi, Lay’s, Gatorade, Quaker and Tropicana.

Mauro Porcini will report to PepsiCo Global Beverage Group head Brad Jakeman.
