Searches on Bing.com and search.yahoo.com at rest accounted for less than half the Web traffic logged by the ever-present Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), but the service did register several major gains.
Bing itself surges 16% in the 12 months during April, when it evaluated for 14.32% of all US searches. And its rate of escalation only seems to be growing: between March and April, Bing moved up its share of the search market an inspiring 5%. Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO) searches, powered by Bing, increased fairly lower, but immobile at a 5% month-over-month rate and 7% year-over-year.
