The person with knowledge about the issue reported that both companies have discussed a range of options, comprising the idea of Verizon acquiring 100% of their United States wireless partnership. Analysts reported that Vodafone’s 45% interest in the venture, named Verizon Wireless, could fetch $115 billion. Vodafone had its major one-day boost in over 4 years, adding over $8 billion in market value.
