Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC) is looking for to repeal a judgment that bound for it to pay $203 million in damages to customers in California over several of its debit card performs that were maneuvered to push up its overdraft fees, Bloomberg reported.
Wells Fargo contends that it can’t be went to court under the California law for some of its practices associated to debit-card transactions. In fact, its practices come below the purview of federal laws, which authorize its own procedures for calculating such fees.
