Our Healthcare client is currently seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to immediately fill an Assistant Controller position in our Corporate Headquarters which will report to the Controller. They will be working closely with FP&A and the CFO. The Assistant Controller will oversee the AR / revenue and AP departments, as well as manage financial statements for the company and related reconciliations. Responsibilities include:

Assist and review month, quarter and year end closes and related GL and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and review financial statements to summarize the company’s financial status, including balance sheet, income statements, and relevant statistical data.
Assist with preparations for third party audits and tax returns.
Understand and manage the connection between the ledger, subledger and reporting systems to ensure accurate reporting.
Suggest efficiencies and evaluate processes for strong internal controls.

Successful candidate’s qualifications / skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance
5+ years Healthcare experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously and prioritize based on deadlines.
Microsoft Excel, specifically with strong Vlookup and Pivot table knowledge, is a must.
