Job Description Summary :
The Actuary Associate rovides complex professional actuarial services requiring a high level of knowledge and/or experience.
Job Description
Rating – Responsible for oversight of all commercial rate filings in Individual, Small Group and Large Group markets, including Non-ACA fully insured, self-funded, stop loss and ancillary product arrangements, such as Dental. Updates rating systems and oversees preparation of rate filings. Ensures rating compliance with regulatory requirements and Actuarial Standards of Practice.
Performance Analytics – Analyzes all aspects of Commercial product experience monitoring impacts from membership changes, trends, network, benefit valuations, risk selection, and regulatory impacts. Reports on key metrics driving product performance in consultation with business partners. Makes recommendations to address critical business performance issues.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Finance or related fiel
3-5 year’s commercial rating experience
Member American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA)
Associate, Society of Actuaries (ASA)
Preferred Qualifications
Fellow, Society of Actuaries (FSA)
