| Job Description : | Community Concepts, a Maine non-profit that provides resources to people of low income to help them move forward, is seeking an Associate Director of Finance. The Associate Director of Finance works for and in partnership with the Director of Finance and is responsible for assisting with the Annual Audit, Agency Budget, Process Improvement, Finance Department goals, reconciliation review, and the supervision of the Financial Analyst and Staff Accountant positions within the Finance department. The Associate Director of Finance will also be responsible for ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed within the Finance department, including OMB and GAAP rules. This is a full-time position, based out of our Lewiston office. A hybrid work-from-home arrangement may be considered. To Qualify: Must have a willingness to accept the challenge of a hectic pace and have the ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision. This position requires someone to keep accurate, neat records with the ability to adapt to changing State and Federal regulations and actively participate in the creative changes which occur. The Associate Director must have the ability to lead and motivate staff. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or Finance is preferred as well as experience in non-profit accounting. Computer literacy is a must including Microsoft Excel & Word, and accounting software. Pre-employment SBI, DMV, DHHS and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment.
