Job Description : Background Associate – Originations at BizCap (Business Capital since 2002)The Originations Associate will be personally trained by the President & CEO and will be responsible for identifying and originating cash flow and asset-based transactions, pre-qualifying website leads and potential transactions referred by BizCap corporate partners. We are seeking smart, resilient, coachable candidates with strong networking skills who are comfortable developing new relationships and elevating existing partnerships with all types of finance providers, law firms and business consultants who can identify and refer new clients to Business Capital. Prior sales/business development experience is a plus but not required, industry experience in Banking, Finance, and/or Restructuring is a plus. Must be tough, hardworking and possess excellent communication/presentation skills, have great attention to detail and be a team player!About the position The Associate will work out of our San Francisco office and be responsible for evaluating potential transactions and generating new revenue by following BizCap’s business development process.
