| Job Description : | The Asset manager will be responsible for the management of a residential multifamily portfolio in student housing, market rate multifamily and self storage in Norfolk, VA. Emphasis will be in the fiscal management of current assets, the acquisition of new assets, overseeing renovation management and staffing needs.ResponsibilitiesMeet leasing agents and oversee local third-party property managersResponsible for all aspects of due diligence and purchasing of real estateSuggest objectives and goals for each propertyOversee renovation budgets, timelines and staffing requirements.Hire, onboard and train staff for property and construction management.Produce reports on assigned portfolio and review operating statementsPerform financial analysis, market studies and industry standard reportingBoost asset and revenue values through identified savings and efficienciesEnsure current policies are reviewed and updatedExecute special projects regarding software and technology upgrades.QualificationsA Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, real estate or other related fields of studyAbility to perform in the areas of asset enhancement and financial resultsAbility to function in goal-driven, fast-paced environmentsMust be self-regulated and possess the ability to work without supervisionPossess at least five to seven years of provable experience in asset managementMust be computer literate and proficient in the use of word processing apps and spreadsheetShould possess a working knowledge Real Estate asset management software.Be able to perform financial analysis, including ROI, IRR, and discounted cash flow modelingThey are mindful of the ever-changing economic factors and marketing conditions that affect properties valuation.Company Benefits and CultureWe offer an outstanding benefits package that includes:Company paid health, dental and vision insuranceGenerous vacation time with opportunity for accrualAutomatic sick leave timeMaternal and paternal leaveCompany matching 401(k)Company paid training/higher educationBonus & commission-based opportunitiesODUrent is committed to providing its team members with an exceptional company culture and employment experience.
