Job Description : Position Overview
This position reports to the Chief Financial Officer, or his/her designee, and is responsible for helping implement the CFO’s strategic, tactical, and operational agendas. Duties include ensuring the CFO has the information and advice needed when making key decisions, representing the CFO in interactions with SUFS leaders and external organizations, and other tasks as assigned by the CFO. This position requires meeting the CFO’s expectations in accuracy, precision, confidence, adaptability, gravitas, flexibility, effectiveness, confidentiality, efficiency, intelligence, integrity, and cognitive and emotional management skills.
Essential Functions
Ensures the CFO has the information and advice needed when making key decisions.
Represents the CFO in meetings with SUFS leaders and external organizations.
Provides regular updates to the CFO regarding SUFS progress and improvement opportunities.
Executes key strategic, tactical, and operational tasks as assigned by the CFO, including staffing the CFO’s initiatives and delegating projects to staff as needed.
The above is a representative summary of the primary duties and responsibilities performed by the CFO’s Chief of Staff. Incumbent may be required to perform other additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working with senior executives. Experience in process management and improvement and project management. Strong commitment to organization’s two core values.

Physical Demands
This position regularly requires the abilities of standing, walking, sitting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and depth perception.
This position may require monthly travel. Fifty (50) to sixty (60) percent of position’s time may be spent outside the home office. Ability to travel via air and/or automobile is required.
Work Environment
This position is an office environment with some exposure to outside fumes, odors, heat and/or weather conditions when traveling to and from business events.
