We’re a strong team and are looking for someone who wants to operate within a team.OverviewThe Controller is responsible for the accounting operations of all business entities, including cash management, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Ensures internal control policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of reported financial results.ResponsibilitiesManage all accounting operations including Month/Year End Close, Annual Budget and AuditsManage ERP (NetSuite) implementation and reportingPrepare and analyze monthly financial statement reporting of all subsidiariesProcess all general ledger transactions to ensure proper accounting treatmentManage bank statement reconciliations for multiple entitiesManage and reconcile credit card paymentsPrepare and maintain operating budget and variancesManage cash flow and vendor credit limitsManage and process bi-weekly payroll functions and ongoing day to day operations with 3rd party vendorAssist with payroll, federal, multi-state, and local tax filingsWork closely with CPA firm to ensure emphasis related to companywide tax strategyCoordinate with Accounts Payable team, Inventory & Sales team, and Payroll team on a daily basisRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance10+ years experienceNetSuite Experience preferredPrior retail and eCommerce experience preferredStrong accounting knowledge and understanding of general GAAP PrinciplesGood communication and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDeadline and detail-orientedMust be extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office ApplicationsJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 – $125,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payAbility to commute/relocate:Clearwater, FL 33762: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Experience:GAAP: 3 years (Preferred)Controllers: 3 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location |
