Job Description
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations. These responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP, CAS and SOXCost management system and controlsPayroll system and controlsBillings and accounts payable management system and controlsOverhead rates management and budget controlsDevelopment and certification of the division’s financial statementCash management and reportingCorporate financial reportingEngagement with internal and external auditors
This position reports directly to the division CFO and matrix reporting responsibility for all accounting matters to the corporate Controller.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline, plus a minimum of 10 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience.
Must be a current HII employee.
