DESCRIPTION
Branch Managers are responsible for the overall branch operation, production and client satisfaction. In this position, you will lead, coach and develop a team of Financial Consultants and Licensed Sales Support in implementing firm wide sales strategies & best practices in addition to providing day-to-day guidance and oversight.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the daily sales activities of the branch Financial Consultants, oversee lead distribution, sales production, customer satisfaction, as well as develop necessary reports and documentation for the leadership team.
Communicate the company’s vision to the branch, set & review goals, motivate and provide ongoing support to the branch staff to help them meet and exceed goals.
Provide ongoing sales coaching, sales process management, performance management and sharing of best practices to develop the branch staff.
Collaborate with Business Partners to engage, interview and hire top talent.
Collaborate with other area of the organization to ensure seamless customer service and satisfaction.
Interact with clients on an advanced level regarding sales activities, account information, procedures, systems, and our expanding range of financial services products.
Manage risk and ensure all team members are protecting the interests of the firm while enhancing the customer experience.
Provides day-to-day guidance and oversight of staff actively.
QUALIFICATIONS
Basic
A minimum of 5 years of licensed brokerage sales experience
Must have an active Series 7 & 63 license
Must have an active Series 66 [63 & 65] (must be obtained in applicable states within 90 days of employment)
Must have an active Series 8 or 9/10 or 24 licenses (must be obtained in applicable states within 90 days of employment)
Clean U4/Ability to obtain Mass Registration
Bachelor’s Degree (Finance, Business Management/Administration/Business related discipline strongly preferred) or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (1 year of work experience can substitute 1 year of education)
Preferred
Demonstrated leadership, management and motivational skills in a sales environment
Additional designations & education are preferred: CFP, CRPC and/or MBA
Well-developed negotiation, project and account management skills
Creative, flexible, and innovative team player who can motivate a sales group
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels or an organization
Proven ability to handle multiple projects that meet deadlines
Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
Thorough knowledge of Financial Services industry product and sales information |
