Position Summary
The Analyst will support all Decision Support activities and initiatives with exposure to cross functional teams and gain a deep understanding of the financial statements. In this position, the analyst will get a comprehensive experience of Corporate Finance through involvement with the month end close, forecasting and reporting processes. Additionally, the analyst will participate in building digital and analytical capabilities for Finance.
Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Support and act as a Decision Support contact for the month end close by working through issues and ad hoc requests with the Corporate reporting, functional and divisional finance teams.Manage and assume responsibility to consolidate and publish internal management reports for actuals and forecast. Provide research and analytical review as needed to ensure integrity of the financial statements.Partner with the IT and commercial teams to solve for business management reporting needs.Act as the liaison between the business and IT organization to deliver tools and analysis to help drive the digital transformation in Finance.
Requirements and Minimum Education Level:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or similar field3-5 years prior experience in Accounting / Finance
Skills:
Proficiency in use of Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access) and working knowledge of SmartView, Power BI, SAP and BWStrong analytical skills (quantitative as well as qualitative)Solid networking skills to manage relationships with business partners and to leverage the organization to achieve common goals.Capability to manage several priorities and projects simultaneouslyClearly and effectively communicate with others in written and verbal formBe service oriented, attentive to detail and committed to achieve customer / company goalsWork effectively within a team environmentApply good judgment and professional integrity in decision-makingResults focused, self-starter with strong initiative, naturally inquisitive, able to think independently and has a desire to make a difference
