| Job Description : | Lexitas is seeking an experienced finance attorney for a long-term contract supporting a client in the energy and supply industry, based in Houston, Texas. This position will be up to 40 hours per week for approximately 9 months, beginning in early April. Ideally the selected candidate would be able to be on-site in Houston, Texas 2-3 days per week, however remote candidates will also be considered.Candidates must possess the following skills, experience, and attributes: 3+ years of experience in corporate lending, commercial lending, and/or asset-based lending.Experience within structured finance, leasing transactions or other subordinated debt financing preferred.3+ years of experience structuring, drafting, and negotiating financing for energy assets, specifically reserved based lending.Strong client-counseling skills.JD from an ABA-accredited law school.Licensed to practice law, and in good standing, in at least 1 US jurisdiction required.If qualified and interested apply by selecting the Easy Apply button.
