Job Opening for Finance Director, Global Procurement in NIKE INC (Portland, OR 97236)

As the Finance Director for the Global Procurement team, you will join one of the most dynamic global consumer brands in a role at the heart of delivering hundreds of millions in cost savings, growing our spend with Diverse Suppliers, and mitigating Supplier Risk through effective programming & controls.
The Finance Director plays a key role in continuously improving foundational FP&A processes. You will be the primary Point of Contact between Global Procurement and Global Operations & Technology Finance for financial planning and performance management, including running the forecasting and reporting process, and driving timely and insightful financial analysis in addition to exploring and delivering against opportunities that drive efficiency in Nike Indirect spend.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Provide the Chief Procurement Officer and the Leadership Team visibility into the Organization’s budget and forecast
Drive monthly financial analysis within the forecasting/reporting process that identifies trends, risks, and opportunities to help our business partners deliver against their operating strategies
Ownership of Savings Methodology and Audit
Effective collaboration in building business cases and financial models that inform effective investment decisions
Serve as a lead on initiatives/projects where Finance input is necessary
Champion strong partnerships with cross-functional teammates to ensure alignment with Finance and the business (including Strategy, HR, Controlling and Global Business Planning); be a champion for procurement
Lead senior management level reviews as needed
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

The Finance Director of Global Procurement will report to the Sr. Director of Global Operations & Technology Central Finance, and work closely with a diverse set of partners, including Nike’s Chief Procurement Officer, the Global Operations and Technology Central Finance team, and leaders within the Global Procurement organization at WHQ, Holland, and Shanghai.
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field
MBA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Financial and/or Data Analysis, Financial/Strategic Planning
Proven track record in managing, leading and developing a team is required
Prior experience with OR willingness to learn SAP and Tableau required
Prior experience working in OR with procurement is a plus
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to see the bigger picture and passion to lead Global Procurement Finance
Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
Advanced level proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
