|Job Description :||Role and ResponsibilitiesManage the accounting and financial reporting process for the firm and affiliatesLiaison with fund administrators and CEOLead month-end and year-end close process. Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts. Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology. Full cycle of accounting and manage monthly closing of financial statement in SAP. Reconciliations of balance sheet and bank reconciliations. Manage Payroll and payroll taxesMonitor, reconcile and forecast funds’ cash positionLead budgeting and forecasting processes. Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.Analyze financial data and maintain key performance metricsLead the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statementsCoordinate with external auditors for successful and timely completion of annual audits. Provide internal and external auditing services for businesses or individuals.Work with tax advisors to ensure compliance and timely filing of all tax returns. Compute taxes owed and prepared tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting or other tax requirements.Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controlsEnsure compliance with GAAP principles. Maintain and audit the records of government agencies and Financial Institution.Advise internal clients in areas such as compensation, employee health care benefits, the design of accounting or data processing systems, or long-range tax or estate plans.Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide adviceIn charge of the calendar for the Government agencies, Among Others.· Other duties assigned to the position.Qualifications and Education Requirements· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Finance dual degree a plus. CPA license preferred5 years’ experience in similar position· Thorough understanding and analysis of financial statements· Excellent technical skills utilizing MS Office products; advanced Excel proficiency a must.· Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, standards, laws and regulations· Superb analytical and quantitative skills· Ability to perform research on accounting topics and communicate with the broader team· Self-starter with strong project management and follow-through skills· Excellent written and verbal communications skills in both English and Spanish a must· Great organization and prioritization skills· Utmost attention to detail and accuracy· Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently.· Good judgment, character, ethics and integrity Ability to deliver results with little supervision in an often-ambiguous environment with capacity to effectively manage multiple projects and candidates simultaneouslyPreferred SkillsCustomer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
