We are looking for a Finance Master Data Analyst for the News Corp Finance Technology Team who will be responsible for supporting Global Finance Transformation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environment, able to juggle and prioritize work under tight timelines. You will be responsible for performing complex master data research and analysis to support key business operations. You will collaborate closely with Corporate Finance, Business Unit Finance, Human Resources, and other Technology teams to build and maintain the systems infrastructure required to collect and analyze Finance data and offer actionable analysis and reporting to managers and executives. You will also be contributing to the development of the Master data management tools and governance process. Location: New Jersey/New York Job Responsibilities: Work with News Corp Corporate Finance & Accounting stakeholders to identify gaps between future master data structures and existing master data; and establish data mapping standards for Finance such as GL Accounts, Profit Center, and Cost Center Work with News Corp Corporate Finance & Accounting stakeholder to map, set up & maintain Finance Master Data Objects during News Corp Finance Transformation Provide input and support the development of testing and training materials for Finance Data Objects Work with News Corp Business Unit Finance & Accounting and Technology Departments to roll out global harmonized master data across News Corp Help develop the test plans and scripts Resolve technical and process issues impacting the Finance organization Document lessons learned Create and maintain master data governance and management process documentations Qualifications: 2+ Finance Transformation projects in multinational companies involving data transformation & migrations Prior experience in harmonizing master data across federated business units with multiple ERPs Able to validate & challenge Finance & Accounting users on the design for Global Master Data Template Strong business acumen, analysis skills including written communication and presentation development Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills with ability to craft tailored solutions to meet the wide range of business needs across the organization. 5+ Years SAP Finance experience: FI/CO, CO-PA, FP&A Have worked in Finance & Accounting department and transitioned to Technology supporting Finance & Accounting 3+ years Media Industry experience Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including vlookups, pivot tables, and named ranges on large data sets.
