Job Title: Finance Operations Analyst
Location: Novato (Hybrid)
Compensation: $28-$30 an hour
Job Summary:
Established game developer is looking for a long-term temporary Finance Operation Analyst to assist with the day-to-day finance operations. This includes support on production/project cost reporting, assist with bi-weekly time sheet reconciliations, budget tracking and project cost reporting. This is a full-time hybrid position (3 days in office, 2 days from home). This is a contract position for 4-6 that could go direct hire for the right individual.
Job Title Responsibilities:
Follow up with respective production/creative team executives, management, or producers to seek proper sign offs of summitted timesheets
Audit or analyze production timesheet to ensure integrity of production/project time charges are accurate, research discrepancies and resolve as needed
Active management of PO’s and accounts payable process
Monitor PO receipts or receiving according to relevant delivery dates
Validate spend against planned/approved budget and raise risk related to over-spend as required
Assist preparing month end production, technology and overhead costs accruals based on open PO analysis
Ad hoc analysis as needed systems and administration
Job Title Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a business-related field
Minimum 1-2 year(s) of production finance or entry level finance relevant experience
High proficiency with Excel
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with flexibility to work across different tasks
