Responsibilities
The Systems Financial Analyst is part of a team of individuals responsible for the maintenance of data throughout the Company’s financial systems and the creation of corporate reporting to support multiple areas within the company. Individual in this role will primarily be responsible for maintenance and enhancement of the Company’s Oracle EPM suite, which holds the official audited financials and the tool used for full company budgeting and forecasting. This position will report directly to the FP&A Systems Manager. In addition, this position will be involved in responding to ad-hoc requests and will act as a liaison between FP&A and IT.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Play a key role in development activities within the Oracle EPM suite of products
Perform appropriate maintenance activities to support accounting close
Level 1 triage support for end-users to resolve technical and functional issues
Understanding of integration between reporting systems and the data warehouse and assist in analysis, design, development and testing of interfaces
Collaborate with the IT development team on any enhancements related to external data feeds
Assist in maintaining data warehouse mappings to support all downstream applications
Maintenance of dimensional hierarchies within multiple systems
Demonstrate keen understanding of accounting procedures including the financial close process and creation of company financial statements
Qualifications
Required:
Oracle EPM / Hyperion experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems with 2+ years of experience in financial reporting systems in an Accounting/FP&A setting.
Additional education or certifications (or the pursuit of) a plus
Knowledge/Skills Preferred:
Strong systems experience with the desire to quickly learn and master new systems including: Peoplesoft, Costpoint, and Power Business Intelligence/Pivot
Experience developing finance reports using SmartView
Experience interacting with a data warehouse and an understanding of the integration between the warehouse and end reporting
SQL writing experience preferred
Finance related experience is strongly preferred
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet goals and deadlines
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while remote
Strong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Ability to adapt in a fast-moving and changing culture
Keen analytical mind and strong intellectual curiosity
Desire to learn, grow, and seek increased responsibility
Additional Requirements

The salary range for this position is between $60,000-$70,000 depending upon experience
