Position SummaryThe Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will support the Financial Planning & Analysis team in daily, weekly, and monthly analysis focused on the budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes. This role will prepare financial and operational reports that highlight KPIs, identify and monitor trends across the business, help management and business functions with issues and inquiries related to business performance, and perform ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional FP&A skillset combined with experience using Adaptive Insights necessary to guide and inform system implementation and act as a super user.This role will report to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and have significant interactions with and exposure to the CFO and key members of the executive and operational leadership teams.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesConsolidate, analyze, and report on financial and business data, incorporating the company’s strategic goals, with a focus on KPIs and business trendsEngage with operational leaders as business partner to review financial results, identify opportunities to improve efficiency / budget achievement, and provide ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business objectivesManage preparation and help drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for delegated state operationsDevelop financial models, benchmark performance, and analyze business processesUnderstand the industry and competitive landscape and use that knowledge to inform internal financial analysis and reportingAnalyze special operational and financial projects on an ad hoc basisUse our financial reporting and general ledger systems to support internal and external needs for reports and other informationPartner with team cross functionally for reporting and data analysisEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics; MBA preferred5-7+ years of experience in financeKnowledge and SkillsStrong foundation in accounting and financial reporting; solid knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and proceduresExperience with corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, and reportingDemonstrated success in a dynamic, high-growth environmentAdvanced computer skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databasesGeneral ledger systems and system integrations experience preferredAdaptive Insights experience requiredMust be highly analytical, organized, and possess a high degree of attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAble to work well with senior executives and teamJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceEmployee assistance programHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offReferral programTuition reimbursementVision insurancePhysical Setting:OfficeSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayAbility to commute/relocate:Fort Worth, TX 76109: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Finance: 5 years (Required)Work Location: One location |
