Position Summary:
As a Service Operations Specialist within Retirement Solutions, you will collaborate with our wider team to support Financial Advisors and their Support Professionals as they onboard & service 401(k) plan business. You will be a key contributor in ensuring that new plan sales are efficiently contracted and onboarded onto the Morgan Stanley platform. You will assist with collating data from internal systems for periodic reporting for status updates to our internal team members, business unit leadership, and external Recordkeeping partners. Your contributions will help drive the future growth of this business unit and you will coordinate with other operational teams across the firm to ensure that the retirement plan business is correctly onboarded & compliant with firm protocols.
Responsibilities:
Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the Retirement Plan sale onboarding and periodic plan sale servicing processesPartner with Financial Advisors, Support Professionals, and Branch Management to onboard Retirement Plan salesCollaborate with other operational teams across Wealth Management to efficiently and accurately onboard Retirement Plan salesAct as a centralized point of contact to triage Advisor or Operational inquiries related to existing relationshipsAssist with the creation and management of reporting dashboardsAct as a liaison with external Recordkeeping partners to collate required data to onboard retirement plan sales on the Wealth Management platformCoordinate with other team members within Retirement Solutions and MS at Work Product partners to identify opportunities to unlock additional scalability while maintaining a compliant processActive partnership with the broader Retirement Solutions team to sharpen & hone our field-facing messages to offer Advisors & Field partners a first-class experience as they engage with our ProductsAct as an enabler of the broader strategy to make the Retirement Plan business a key component of every advisor’s book of businessFocus on achieving business objectives and doing so in a professional manner
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred3-4 years of Wealth Management industry experience; Retirement experience a plusStrong written & verbal communications skillsDemonstrated organizational aptitudeWorks well in a dynamic, team-based environment, collaborating with Financial Advisors, external partners, and other Morgan Stanley operational teams to meet the needs of our clients in a first-class waySalesforce experience a plusFINRA Series 7 and 66, or the ability to obtain within 90 daysPositive contributor to our team’s culture

Salary range for the position: $80,000 – $90,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.
